About San Lorenzo Press

San Lorenzo Ruiz—our publishing company’s namesake—was a husband, father, and skilled printer whose life united craftsmanship with courageous witness. Trained as a calligrapher and transcriber in Manila, he devoted his work to preserving words with care and integrity. When persecution forced him to choose between safety and truth, he remained steadfast, becoming the first Filipino saint and a lasting symbol of fidelity across cultures.

His story reminds us that the written word carries both beauty and responsibility. It also speaks to the Church’s universality: one faith expressed in many languages, lived in many cultures, and carried by countless communities around the world. Inspired by his witness, we seek to publish books that honor truth, nurture faith, and serve the diverse people of God—wherever they live and whatever language they pray in.

Our work extends internationally, guided by the conviction that every culture holds a unique reflection of God’s beauty. We strive to create resources that cross borders, uplift local voices, and accompany readers in their own language and tradition. Whether in English, Filipino, French, Vietnamese, or any language we are called to serve, our mission is the same: to help the Gospel take root in every human heart.

Our products are created and designed by Catholic educators, writers, and artists who share a desire to make the richness of the faith accessible to all God’s children worldwide.

San Lorenzo Press is a specialized publishing imprint of SEARI LLC, dedicated to producing resources that bridge the gap between psychology, faith, and service.
